Customer Review
Got my first Parkawear raincoat more than a year ago, although I was in two minds if it'd suit my needs on the farm. I've always preferred heavier gear obviously made to last many, many years of hard use. Hate chucking stuff away that doesn't.
I've been impressed. It is still solidly waterproof, regardless of how heavy the rain is. It breathes well, too. I expected barbed-wire, blackberry and stuff would shred it, but it's been surprisingly resistant. Doesn't seem to rip.
Then my wife had a shoulder injury and she found it painful to get into and out of our usual, much heavier raincoats; they also restricted her range of comfortable movements in digging, picking fruit, using the usual tools, etc. She tried my Parkawear, and all those tasks became easier and allowed her shoulder to begin to heal rather than just getting worse. And kept her very dry throughout winter. We've since bought another one just for her so that I can have mine back.
Our Parkawear coats seem to have snuck up on us and become our go-to raingear these days. Both very pleased with them.
